To prepare for your session, it helps to allow enough time to get here, and to have a few minutes to rest before we start.
At the start of the session we will talk to discover what our focus should be. This could range from physical complaints, to emotional issues, or just to help your well-being.
Next you will come into a lying or sitting position on the healing table (if needed blankets for warmth, and cushions for support, will be provided). You will remain clothed. I will then introduce you to the quality of touch you can expect. Then we will either fall into silence, perhaps getting you to focus on your breath to help you relax, or use healing dialogue. Either way, I will come into a state of deep focus, to assist my healing perception and touch. Then, when we are both ready, I will begin to make a series of light healing contacts on relevant areas of the body.
Whatever emerges during your session, I always aim to bring you back to a balanced, grounded and healthy place by its end. From here you should be able to easily re-enter your daily existence. I may make some suggestions to help you between sessions. These could include a book to read, some exercises to do, and/or some basic nutrition ideas.
Whilst you may well leave with a sense of relaxation, of healing, and of greater awareness, my intention is also to help you to become more integrated. By this I mean to help you feel both more internally AND externally connected. In turn allowing for a greater sense of self and a deepening in quality of all your relationships. Through this, I wish for you to feel a difference to anything you have experienced in your healthcare before.
